Make your own kite... and Stanley the Stork defies gravity

Where there's a will there's a way...

Technical adjustments...

Look out below!!! Who would have thought it???
Complete with handlebar moustache and  baby rattle on his tail - Stanley takes to the skies.
And look what Stanley  brought. Dear little Zachary, wearing bootees and a coat I knitted myself.
Now Zachary is taller than his me and sings in a band called Fuld Effekt with his brother Alex and friend Claus!

Watch this space...for more kite features in the coming weeks

And see Jake and me having a go at flying this sled kite
we made after a week of slipped disks and  a total lack of wind
on the night we finished making the blessed thing.
Cross your fingers there's more wind soon.

In the meantime, check out the link below and make your own 'diamond-shaped' kite out of a plastic bag!

The top floor of the Experimentarium...

Ever wondered what a bed of nails feels like? Or how waves are made? Or which bit of your body goes where?

There are literally thousands of buttons, levers and gadgets to fiddle with at
the Experimentarium in Hellerup.

...and tunnels to explore.

You can make waves.

Mind the killer whale!

And see how long you can surf before falling off.
Sitting down on the surfboard works too :o).
Don't know what I was playing at. Not my best side :o).
Oops but no lasting damage from this flying carpet, thank goodness.
Best to hang on to each other, perhaps.

A bed of nails that doesn't hurt, apparently.
Don't see the point? Turn the handle.
Hold still...this may tickle!
All done! That's a green water bottle near her head not an infected appendix!
Feet up.
I can't remember what this one was...something to do with musical wallabies?
Look out Jake, don't poke Louis in the eye!
... blow away the cobwebs!

Pipe up... or can you hear a whisper through these tubes?

Dinos at the Experimentarium

Smile please!!!

A great place to spend hours skulling about.

This way...

...for very lifelike dinos.

Imagine if they still roamed about.

You need more than this chicken wire to keep dinos cooped up.

Pick a fossil.

And dig it out.

Oooh the suspense...

Real dino? I've got a bone to pick with you...

Beanbag nests with talking dino eggs tell interesting stories.

Time to go. Where's Jake???
