| We bought these dishcloths in REMA for DKK 20 (about £2) |

| We folded it in half and cut a little way in at one end. |
 |
| We out the dishcloth/teatowel with the middle on top of Jake's head. |
 |
| Holding onto the bits we cut, we tied it around his head and knotted it over one ear. |
 |
| Then I found a hair elastic and we put the tail end through it a couple of times. |
 |
| And covered the elastic with the knot. |
 |

| Time to visit the Drive-In Cinema in Lyge near where we live. We'd been looking forward to it! |

| Then we made sure the Green Lighting (my car) was parked facing the right (wrong) way... |

| We tuned in the radio, tipped the seats forward, spread out the cushions and snuggled up under the quilts we'd brought along. |

| Perfect! Ready for the film to begin. Dumb and Dumber 2 was naughty but most of it went over Jake's head. And anyway, at some level, he has to learn to pronounce English swear words without a Danish accent :o) www.driveinbio.dk |

| Bunk beds are always fun. Jake wasn't quite sure because he sometimes falls out of bed on his normal bed at home. So if you've ever wondered what the things are that go bump in the night - it's Jake, falling out of bed again. |

| After settling in, we decided to go exploring. |

| There were plenty of seats on the deck with WiFi so Zac could finish an essay he had to hand in. |

| And the furniture in the Bubble Zone was made to look like stones, but was actually quite comfy. We had terrific steaks in a posh restaurant to celebrate my BIG birthday. |

| Then we crashed. Though not in a Titanic sense. |

| Jake used my bed but slept below decks when it was time for bed. ON THE WAY BACK The first thing we did was buy tickets at the service desk on deck 7 and TRY..... THE OUTDOOR HOT TUB! (I can't spell jacuzzi :o) |

| And shot off down the corridor in our swimming stuff. Jake had his favourite towel and looked a little like Superman |

| There are two hot tubs out on the deck and luckily one was unoccupied. |

| WE GOT! Lovely. But when four bathing beauties joined us and started speaking French, it was clear Zac had enjoyed a mispent youth - learning German. |

| After a delicious soak, We flitted back to our cabin. |
 |
| And then while Jake and Alex played a football game. |
 |
| I sussed out the treasure hunt, run by a friendly pirate. |
 |
| The clues were hidden around the ship and you had about an hour to find them as I recall. There were nasty ratty villains trying to get in the way apparently but I never saw them. |

| Then we went to find out what the roll-the-dice horse racing was all about. It was all quite safe, though the lady in the photo seems to be wearing a rather elaborate harness just in case - and she was just a spectator. |

| After a tasty pizza, we relaxed back at the cabin. And next morning everyone turned their phones back on and deleted all the messages saying 'welcome to Sweden', 'Welcome to Oslo' etc. etc. The cool green enamel bucket was my birthday present from the boys. I fell in love with it in a really retro shop in Oslo - there'll be more photos of Oslo, some cool shops and the place we stayed in another post next week. Why a bucket? Well although I'm really old now, I still haven't kicked it. That or they think I'm like Hyacinth in the TV show Keeping Up Appearances! |
