Have a blast and make the perfect present

We had fun making a present for Alex's 21st birthday

First you pick a glass container or other glass.

Then you choose a sheet of stickers.

There are LOTS to choose from.

Jake decided to put borders at the top and bottom using a felt pen.

He had to be careful to get it straight.

He put tape up to the line he had made.

Top and bottom,

Like this.

Then turned it inside.

Now it was time for the stickers, which were priced DKK 25 per sheet
or if you found some you liked in the 'leftover tub', separately depending on the size.

There were quite a few, star signs too.

Jake stuk on some chameleons because his brother has leopard gekkos
and they were the closest we could find.

Next it was time for the sand blasting

Ooooohhhhh.

It looks spacey.

The lady helped explain the process.

Which is easy to see here - where there are no stickers, the sand blasts
through the green layer of glass.
As you can see here, now that the container is out of the cabinet, the green has gone.

Except it's still there under where the stickers were. Smart!
So when you've peeled off all the stickers...
...it looks like this. The chameleons were round the back
and his name on the front. Unique.
